genus: ANISORRHINA Westwood 1843
species: flavomaculata (Fabricius,1798)
origin: South Africa
wild imago size : 25-29mm
sexual dimorphism: males with small horns on clypeus
An interesting genus, morphologically unique may remind Chondrorrhina trivittata in colours. I used to breed this population with a very good success between the years 2002-2003. Other newly imported species
aren`t kept easily - larvae feeding is difficult.
